Summary of WIP

In November, as planned, I concentrated on finding material for my research, finalizing my photographic drift in Thessaloniki (Greece), and preparing the external project with the photographer Marc De Tollenaere.

As for the research, I took as a point of reference the "triangle" that links photographic drift, street photography and walking, and I selected some authors who inspire me for my practice and who, in my opinion, represent these three acts well: Daido Moriyama and the "Provoke" movement, Saul Leiter, Robert Doisneau, Vivian Maier, Henry David Thoreau,

As for photography drift "experiments", the two-day session in Thessaloniki was fruitful. As for the session in Metz, I chose black and white, and I intend to discuss this with Marc De Tollenaere.

The project with Marc will be on November 29th, called "A day with Marc De Tollenaere". It will consist of an interview, for which I have prepared the list of questions and published it in the learning log, and a joint photographic session around the "calli" of Venice.

In reference to this project, I will publish a work composed of the interview and the set of images.

This external project has a link with the previous project (interview with the founder of the "Walking Museum"), considering that we will move into the pedestrian city of Venice and that De Tollenaere's artistic production has walking as one of the main components.

Finally, after having looked for references and inspiration from the works of authors, I can deal directly with those who habitually practice what I am learning to do.
